CoolSculpting in Bangkok

CoolSculpting, or scientifically known as cryolipolysis, is a nonsurgical method to remove fat by freezing the fat cells from specific parts of the body. The aim is to reshape the contours of the body. It can eliminate unwanted fat cells in the abdomen, neck (double chin), upper arms, underneath buttocks, flanks, sides, and bra fat. However, it is not a method of weight loss. The procedure is suitable for people who are within 30 pounds of their recommended body weight.

During the procedure, the doctor will place a vacuum applicator to the skin above the targeted area. The applicator will cool the fat cells down to a temperature at which the fat will be permanently damaged. The patient will feel cooling and sucking sensations. These sensations will then diminish as the targeted area of the body numbs. The cold does not damage other tissue the same way it does to fat cells. Therefore, there will be no apparent damage to the tissue or overlying skin. The procedure usually takes about an hour. Since it is a non-invasive procedure, it involves no anesthesia.

After the procedure, patients may feel soreness in the area of the CoolSculpting, but they can go straight home after undergoing the procedure. There is no recovery period, and patients can return to their daily routine the same day. Patients do not have to stay in the Bangkok any longer than they need to. Coolsculpting has a success rate of 90%, but do not expect to see a complete removal of fat, some patients may have to go through more than just one treatment to get the desired effect. Although the procedure is safer than other fat reduction methods such as liposuction, it is essential to be aware that there are possible side effects. The side effects may include temporary redness, bruising, swelling, stinging, itching, and a visible enlargement on the treated area. The alternative for Coolsculpting is SculpSure.
