Dr. Yacoob did my wisdom teeth removal, and did an excellent job! I would definitely recommend him. The front desk staff I also pretty nice. The only 2 negatives pertain to the assistants and getting into the office. The two assistants that were in the room during the procedure seemed either new or incompetent.. They were fumbling with the device used to take my blood pressure; when Dr. Yacoob asked them to hand them something, they hesitated and took so long he ended up just getting it. Seeing as though they would be monitoring while I was under anesthesia, and helping him during surgery, their lack of confidence and ability was disconcerting. The entrance on Wabash is locked unless you have a code. There's also no way to call up using the buzzer unless you have a code. I never received a code, so had to call the office on my phone the day of the appointment and to my follow-up. When I went for my follow-up, they couldn't even buzz me in, someone had to come all the way down to open the door.

Everyone was very pleasant, the whole office had a wonderful atmosphere, everyone is professional, place is very, very clean and when I had my last wisdom tooth extracted, it went quick and easy and I was pleasantly surprised as to how fast it was over. They are very alert to your feelings, I felt very comfortable even during the procedure. I would highly recommend this place and Dr. Prem Patel.

This was a great experience from start to finish! Dr. Prem Patel performed my wisdom teeth surgery and was a fantastic doctor. I was so nervous going into the appointment, thinking by the end of it I was going to have huge holes in my mouth, but this was not the case at all! His assistants were comforting and wonderful during the entire process. Dr. Patel even came in super cheerful, ready to get the job done, and kept making me laugh until I fell asleep. I only needed 1 tooth extraction and the other 2 teeth were simply pulled out. I was only left with these tiny slits. I was put under IV sedation and surgery was about 45 minutes long. Of course, you can expect soreness and bruising but I didn't feel any type of pain even after the surgery. They even provide you with a goody bag after surgery and those cute circle ice packs are everything! I won't find out until another week how everything is healing, but just by the looks of it I think its going great! I am so thankful this was a great experience and had a wonderful doctor who made this super easy for me.

This place was awesome! That's saying a lot coming from a very apprehensive dental patient. The staff is wonderful and very professional. They made me feel extremely comfortable during the removal of all 4 of my wisdom teeth at one time, of which 2 were impacted. I cant say enough about the place, by the way I was treated at the Oak Lawn location but I'm sure the staff at the other locations are a reflection of the practice it self and not just one location. Highly recommended.

I am extremely afraid of dentists. The pain of the needle going into my gums terrifies me. I warned the dentist ahead of time about my fears and he said he would take good care of me. I did not feel the first needle pinch and realized he had it in after a few seconds. The second injection I did feel but it was not too bad. On a scale of 1 to 10. I would say my pain for the entire procedure was about a 2. I appreciated the gentle way the doctor and his assistant treated me. The staff was true to their word and did take very good care of me. I had a different doctor for each procedure but both were great.
