Founded in 1976, the Taipei Medical University Hospital is renown for its world famous IVF center. Established in 1991, it has helped over 400,000 infertile couple of conceive. The center is popular with medical tourists traveling from all over the world for IVF treatments.
The hospital has 800 beds across 25 departments, with 40 specialties being serviced by 2,300 staff.
Having been founded back in 1898, the hospital has since been re-branded several times with just as many extensions being added to the original site. Now under the administration of the National Taiwan University, the hospital has more than 4,000 staff serving over 10,000 patients each day.
