Lip Augmentation in Chiang Rai

Lip augmentation is also known as lip enhancement and is a surgical procedure to give a person fuller and plumper lips. Full lips are associated with beauty and youth in many parts of the world. The procedure can also be used to balance the lip shape. There are two different main methods to do this procedure: filler injections and implants. While filler injections give short-term effects, implants offer a long-term solution. There are also other methods such as fat grafting and tissue grafting, but they are not commonly performed since they carry greater risk and complications. Note that lip augmentation is not suitable for people who have any scarring of the lips, current cold sores, blood clotting problems, and other diseases, such as diabetes and lupus.

During lip fillers injections, your doctor gives you topical anesthesia. The lip filler is injected into the upper and lower lips using very fine needles. Once injected, the gel in the lip filler will support and shape the tissues of the lips. There are several types of lip fillers, including Juvederm Ultra, Restylane, and Captique. For lip augmentation, you are given local anesthesia. Then, your doctor makes an incision in each corner of your mouth and create a tunnel in your lips. The implant is grasped into the tunnel and positioned underneath the lip fat above the lip muscles. The incisions are closed using absorbable sutures.

In general, lip augmentation may take 30 minutes to complete. You may be able to go back to your hotel the same day of the procedure, but you will need to stay in the Chiang Rai longer until your doctor says it is okay for you to travel back home. The recovery period is different from one person to another. You need at least three days off from work. The success rate is high, especially lip fillers. Remember that lip filler injection only lasts for six to twelve months and you need to undergo another injection to maintain the result.
