However, metro, trams, trolleybuses, buses, taxis, and the HÉV suburban train line are also available to get around the city.
Visas
Hungary grants visa-free entry for citizens of EU/EEA member and 33 other countries. Citizens of the US and Canada can also enter the country for up to 90 days. The country is also a part of the Schengen Agreement. Therefore, tourists who hold a Schengen Visa do not need to apply for a new visa.
Weather
With four distinct seasons, Budapest is a year-round destination. Summer tends to be nice and warm, starting from May until mid-September. Note that May and June will experience heavy showers. Autumn has moderate temperatures and little rains. November to March is the winter months, which can be very cold. Spring has pleasant weather and warmer temperatures.
